The title may be appropriate for air charter gurus, who believe that many obstacles lie in the way of small aircraft ubiquity. The fact is, there is a culture of "limo" and not "taxi" that pervades our industry, therefore forever making the aircraft out of reach of the common executive traveler. (Who would pay $120 for catering on an aircraft anyway?) So the question begs, why all the hooplah with NASA, Crandall and Eclipse? For one, there is money to be made selling the dream - whether it becomes a reality or not. |
