More Airline Troubles -- GA Is The Cause? - Microjets Seen As New Threat...   PDF  Print  E-mail

Perhaps a little too much crying wolf by the airlines. Air charter comrades, have no fear, this mindless drivel may only be the death throes of large hemorrhaging beasts that don't cope with change well.

You may have had one gin and tonic too many when you start to point to the current price of light jets, or even micro jets, as being a viable problem for large Part 121 scheduled air carriers.

Let's sober up a bit and admit that Southwest Airlines is not competing for clients who also buy the Marquis Jet Card, rent a Lear 35A or (gasp!) buy their own Eclipse in order to avoid travelling with those who brag to all their friends that they rode from Manchester, NH to Baltimore, MD for $99.
