Eclipse Announces Training, Insurance Plans...   PDF  Print  E-mail

This story from AvWeb answers some of the heated regarding Eclipse's early obstacles which centered around a) how many units were really going to air charter companies and b) how will the low time 'new owners' (accident prone) be underwritten.

This story shows that United Airlines, Willis and AIG are serious about getting these new pilots some insurance.

The only question that nags is this: "What happens when Daddy Deep Pockets keeps flunking his checkrides that preclude him from playing with the new toy?"
