While we Quebecers are proud of things like maple syrup, hockey, funny variations of fries, cheese and gravy - air charter powerplants may yet be added to the list. The fact is, that many founding elements of today's air charter industry lurk just north of the Vermont / New Hampshire border. A quick drive towards Trudeau Int'l (formerly Dorval) in Montreal takes one by a row of avionics, helicopter and simulator companies that dominate US and international markets.

This story is also noteworthy since it relates to other jibberish put forth by yours truly regarding the new core for the PT6. In other words, despite all the hoopla on this new engine, the fact remains that the OLD engine, the PT6, is very very popular world wide, and it will need a new core at somepoint and this new design might be just the ticket.

This post was made by Adam Webster who is a lazy pilot who has not flown in 5 years (in the front part anyway.) His laziness is, arguably, outweighed by his greed and zeal to dominate the world as *the* marketing guru for all for hire air taxi / air charter aircraft.
