This Forbes tip came to us via one of corporate aviation's most controversial writers. The fact is that many air charter veterans will pontificate endlessly about how safe we are / operate, etc.. But the data, according to experts like Robert Breiling, clearly shows that a few bad apples make our industry look bad. It is very comforting to see the main stream pick up on a problem that many have long since known. Part 135 has a long way to go, in order to catch up to Part 121.

This Forbes piece really opens the public's eyes to the inherent difficulty that 135 operations face (different routes, airports, crews, etc.) on a limited budget, coupled with the fact that the FAA has a hard time cracking down on pencil whipping.

This post was made by Adam Webster who gets inundated with controversial email that he may or may not post after his second cup of espresso.
