NAFC and AirWebster Go to the Altar   PDF  Print  E-mail

Big news for those of you that follow the air charter and air taxi madness that is developing in the country. Arguably the well financed (Pogo, DayJet, etc.) players will do well, or at least make a dramatic impact. To help smaller air charter companies cope, Bill Cooper of the National Aviation Fuel Consortium has pledged to build a brand with AirWebster that will serve the needs of smaller independent air carriers and to help them market themselves effectively and cohesively. At the end of the day, if you look and smell like a big company, you can compete with a big company. Even if you don't have a big company.

This press release offers some insight into what Bill and Adam have up their sleeves.

A quick disclaimer: The owners of RSVPair will also be owners of this new entity, so this post, while it attempts to be objective, is rife with self serving banter about how great our network really will be.

Bill Cooper launched NAFC mainly in response to fuel costs that are spiraling out of control, but also due to a problem with the margin charge method that FBO's employ. AirWebster recognized the opportunity to partner with a like minded spirit, and forged a revenue sharing alliance / partnership with NAFC in order to deliver a cohesive package to the smaller air carrier. Earn more revenue, and control your costs. Not a complicated proposition, but in today's market, a vital one.

This post was made by Adam Webster who is manic, bi-polar, part-schizo, an average squash player, but one hell of an entreprenneur.
