Nothing gets our air charter Monday rolling like the story of good old fashion litigation. Even more compelling than our espresso, when it involves a start up that is actually doing the litigating. You do have to admit, Boeing and Lockheed have had it pretty easy for the bast 30 years or so, and air charter guerillas often have more in common with start ups than they do with the big defense company, even though they may have themselves immigrated to air charter from a large airline. This story was bound to happen sooner or later. With the likes of Rutan flying his inexpensive re-usable machines and the founders of Google working on a space elevator you can rest assured the big old fashioned aerospace boys are going to be doing some acquisitions, or at the very least some retreats that involve a little yoga and a good dose of new ideas. This post was made by Adam Webster who likes airplanes more than elevators, but Google much more than MSN. |
