Most folks in the air charter or air taxi business remember getting checked out in their first high performance charter aircraft. Thurman Munson paid the price for perhaps going a little to far a little too fast. The details of this rather long reminiscent piece are very insightful into how professional flight crews do things today (even when teaching!) vs. how they did them then.
