Baltimore Washington Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport (KBWI) is an airport that has seen a lot of traffic. In 2007 alone this airport had 21 million passengers walk through it's door. It is one of the busiest airports in the US. It is located in the Baltimore-Washington Metro area. The airport is named after Thurgood Marshall a Baltimore native who was the first African American to serve on the US Supreme Court.
