John Wayne Arpt Orange Co

Santa Ana, CA USA (KSNA / SNA)

John Wayne-Orange County Airport is located in Orange County, California, between the cities of Santa Ana, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, and Irvine. It serves both general and commercial aviation for the Orange County Area. Originally named simply the Orange County Airport, the Orange County Board of Supervisors renamed it to honor the actor John Wayne in 1979. The first airstrip on the grounds was constructed in 1923, when Eddie Martin founded a flying school on land owned by the Irvine Company.

Today, the airport is a popular drop off and pick up location for Harter Aviation who frequents the airport regularly in their comfortable and pressurized Cessna 421 which parks at Long Beach, CA.

This airport is sponsored by Harter Aviation, proudly serving Long Beach, Santa Ana, Orange County, Los Angeles, Southern California and beyond.
