Teterboro is known for being the smallest borough in the state of New Jersey. With a population of 18, neighboring municipalities have constantly tried to absorb it due to it's size. Most of Teterboro is taken up by Teterboro Airport, the oldest airport in the area, it's first flight taking off during World War I. It is popular with private and corporate aircraft.
