Boeing Field, officially King County International Airport is a two-runway airport owned and run by King County, Washington. The airport has some passenger service, but is mostly used by general and corporate aviation.

Located mostly in Seattle just south of Georgetown, with its southern tip extending into Tukwila, it opened in 1928. Named after the founder of the Boeing Company, William E. Boeing, it was Seattle's main passenger airport from its construction until Seattle-Tacoma International Airport began operations in the late 1940s, with the exception of the World War II period, when it was taken over by the U.S. government. Boeing continues to use the field for testing and delivery of its airplanes, and it is still a major regional cargo hub.

A lesser known fact about Boeing Field is that it is also home to Clay Lacy's fleet that is also based out of Van Nuys, CA (KVNY) which is the corporate aviation sister to Los Angeles Int'l (KLAX) An alternate name for Boeing Field might as well have been Veriar Field (KVFI!) due to the long hours that Veriar and Flight Ops at Clay Lacy put in making sure their charter fleet is ready to launch from its bases in Van Nuys (KVNY), San Francisco (KSFO) and Boeing Field in Seattle (KBFI).
